Ｏ氏が「今月以内に余裕で１００を切ります」と声高々に宣言し、それを受けて立とうと思ったのですが、「ＴＡＫＡさん、最高級ワインがリストにないのはずるい」と言われてしまいました。それならと「マルゴーでもどうですか？」　バーコード付き？のマルゴーですけどねえ。０１年でもしっかりデキァンタすれば飲めるであろうと思い、提供の腹をくくっておりましたが、「その手には乗らない」と訳の分からんうんちくをいただいたので、私としては、「そこそこの３本」を用意させていただきました。もちろん、わたくし藤枝は原価で奉仕させていただきますけどね。

1本目：Jarvis Cabernet Flanc, Napa 2003 85.3% Cabernet Franc 14.7% Cabernet Sauvignon実はこのワイン、飲んだことなし。でもサプライヤーの姉ちゃんが一押ししたので勢いで買ってしまった。飲む機会を待っているワインです。キャブネ・フランはどんな味なのか？ ７００ケース限定生産ってことは、全世界で８４００しかない。飲みたいねえ、Ｎさん。Cabernet Franc as a varietal often goes unrecognized on its own due to its popular use in blended wines. But Dimitri Tchlistcheff, our winemaker, considers our Cabernet Franc to be one of the best wines he produces, which makes it no surprise this varietal is often one of our most sought after. The Jarvis 2003 Cabernet Franc has a deep lavender brilliance in the glass which adds to the delight of the drinking experience. Nineteen months of barrel aging in new French Nevers oak adds a hint of toasty vanilla to the lavender and cassis aromas of this wine. A delightful combination of spicy blueberry and black cherry flavors linger elegantly throughout the finish. This charming wine can be enjoyed immediately upon release, and because of its concentration of fruit and incredible structure will also age beautifully through 2011.

2本目：Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2005 Artemisスタッググスリープと言えばＣＡの高級ワインの代名詞みたいなもんです。そして０５年です。A perennial favorite on restaurant wine lists, Artemis is generous in flavor and velvety in texture. Aromas of cassis and caramel rise and give way to earthy notes of black olive, black pepper, and truffles. Classic flavors of cassis and black cherry fill the mouth as notes of violets and vanilla linger on the finish.

３本目：Chateau Lascombes, Bordeaux 2004, Grand Cru Margaux
マルゴーの０４年を開けると７００ドルを超えるのではないでしょうか？　そう思って控えめに選んだワイン、でも特級畑ですぞ。そしてマルゴーの名前を冠しているので許して頂戴って感じ。 ロバート・パーカーの点数は９３です。
The color is amazing, almost black with light purple glints. The nose is complex with layers of black fruits, such as blackberries, bilberries and black cherries as well as flowers and spices. The Cabernet Sauvignon, incredibly consistent in quality in 2004, brings finesse to the blend and gives Château Lascombes 2004 power and concentration on the palate while maintaining a delicacy and unctuousness that mingle well with a dense, tight-knit tannic structure of good pedigree. The finish is long and flavorful. Château Lascombes 2004 is definitely to be ranked among the greatest Margaux of this vintage.
