 　花金です、花金になれよー・幸いにも今日はあまり雨はない。明日はかなりひどいようで、来週から雨マークが消えています。
　裏庭の低地の畑はおそらく１メートル近く冠水したのか、デカい切り株さえも浮いて移動しています。これを日曜日に片付けです。嵐の後のようになっていますから、これまた大変。農業は自然との闘いです。

　東芝は、6月末が提出期限となっている2017年3月期の有価証券報告書について、期限の延長を関東財務局に申請したと発表。延長が認められた場合の次の期限は8月10日に延びる。これを受け、東京証券取引所は、8月1日付で東芝の上場市場を東証1部から2部に変更する方針です。シャープは２部に降格しましたが、１部に復帰しています、さてどうなる？

　韓国・全羅北道・茂朱で開かれる世界テコンドー連盟の世界大会に参加する「北朝鮮師範団」の一行が、ソウルの金浦空港に到着。文在寅政権下で北朝鮮選手を受け入れるのは初めて。一行はわざわざ北京空港から大韓航空を利用して来ています。

　ボーイングは、サウスカロライナ州の工場で約２００人をレイオフします。この工場は今年２月、トランプ米大統領が米国の雇用を守ると約束する演説を行った場所。
同工場でレイオフが行われるのは、２００９年にボーイング７８７型機の製造が始まって以来初めて。エアコンのCarrieも工場をメキシコに移すので、６００人を解雇すると発表しています。

　昨日のUSATodayに、バケーションのシーズン、アメリカ人は当然ながらバケーションに行くが、そのお金がないので平均１１００ドルの借金をしていくと出ていました。
　金がなくても夏はビーチ、これがアメリカ人。カードで払って後払いですよ。まあ、カードは賢く使えば便利で、最大６０日を無利子で使えます。私はある業者の支払いにカードを利用していますが、例えば４月の支払いを５月にカードで決済する、この請求書の支払いは６月になるので、お金がないときにはこれでしのげるわけです。

　夕方からトミーさんとその仲間とワインバーで飲み会。なかなか面白い話を聴きました。ハワイ島で何かビジネスができるかどうかを模索しているわけですがね。 　まず、ハワイ島に別荘を持っている人のリスト、私の予想通りアメリカを代表するVIPの名前が挙がっています。 　ビル・ゲイツ、マイクロソフトの創業者で世界第2位の金持ちですね。マイケル・デル、今は落ち目ですが、DELLの創業者。ハリソン・フォードなどハリウッドの俳優たちもかなり所有しているようです。そのハワイでの資産は10ミリオンではなく、数十ミリオンのようです。10ミリオンの物件はざらにあります。 　日本人でも某パチンコメーカーの社長も推定＄１６Mの家を所有しているとか、また有名歌舞伎俳優やキムタクなどもお忍びでハワイ島に来るようです。彼らが物件を所有しているかどうかは不明ですけどね。 ちなみにそうした超高額物件も2006年を境に急落しました。＄５０Mが＄１５とかに下がったようですが、売った人もいるし、そうでない人もいるでしょう。 　有名人でも正月にハワイに来る人は多いですね。よく朝のワイドショーでインタビューを受けるような下っ端芸能人はオアフに’行くわけです。そこでゴルフするとかでしょうが、ランクの上の芸能人はそういうにぎやかでマスコミに騒がれるところを避けてハワイ島に来るのです。 　冬場になると、コナ空港はそうしたセレブのプライベートジェットで満杯になり、置き場所がないため、満杯後は横のマウイの空港を利用するようです。それだけの大物たちが、広大な敷地に住むわけですね。 　ただし、そういう人はお抱えのシェフがいるでしょうから、店に食べに行くようなことはしませんね。ということは、＄１０M以下のそこそこ金持ちや＄１M程度の普通の金持ち、いわゆる小金持ちをターゲットにしたビジネスは成り立つということですね。 　そして彼の別荘のある近くに店を構えてそこそこビジネスをしている人もいるようです。なんとなく話を聞いてみると、日本食といわれるレストランの数は１０もなし。韓国料理屋はたぶんなし、ハングルを見ませんからね。 　そして美味しい日本食を出している店は１つか２つしかないようです。Buckheadで鍛えた私の腕が通用する可能性はありそうですかね。 　そういうそこそこ金持ちの場合は、店に行くという
