　そこそこの予約があった昨夜ですが、期待を外してしまいました。Dukeの試合が9時からありました。でも、これだけではないでしょう。
　昨日の朝、Costcoに買い物に行きましたが、Brookhavenは気を利かせて、9時45分ごろに開けてくれるのです。しかし昨日は誰も待っていない。大抵は5-10人が開店を待っているのです。ということで、昨日は私が一番乗りでした。それだけ暇なのか？
　さすがのCostcoも暇？　その証拠が廃棄物の多さで分かります。火曜日にも朝一にCostcoに行っていますが、いつも買うオーガニックのサラダの賞味期限が古い、当日の12日が2ケースはありましたね。そして次のものが14日でした。それより新しいものはありませんでした。昨日行けば、もう14日はなく、撤去＝廃棄されたのでしょう。新しい21日が入っていました。
　消費者は潜在的に新しい日付を買いますから、チーズ、ミルクなど、古いものはどんどん見捨てられ、廃棄されていくのです。このロスは大きいと思います。天下のCostcoでさえ、暇なのかと思うと、本当に世の中、どうなっているのかと思います。
　今月の私は、そのCostcoからもらった1年に1回のRewardを使って買い物しています。1850ドルほどありました。これを現金化しても良いのですが、店の売り上げが悪いので、仕入れに回しています。まあ、元々自分のものも買っていますからね。同じことなのですが。
　だいたい1週間に300ドル程度の仕入れでの買い物がCostcoでありますから、1か月分が十分浮く計算になります。

　最近の車は高い、3万―4万ドルをすぐに超えてしまう～チープに行こうよ！

　最近、中国の探査機が月面に着陸しました。アメリカ、ロシア、などが次々と月を狙っていますが、その理由の１つが水だそうです。
　水は現在1リットル1億円に相当するようですが、これがなぜ？　水を分解すると酸素になるからです。そしてもう１つは水素、これがロケットの燃料になり、月に行くのに往復の燃料を積むのではなく、帰りの分は月で調達できるのです。
　この前のJAXAのロケットが打ち上げるのに55億円かかったそうで、重量が600キロあったそうです。だから1億円＝1リットルなんだとか。
　今の予定では、2040年には1千人が月に住んでいるとされています。酸素は必要なのです。へえ、なるほどです。　現代ビジネスに出ていました。

嵐は午前中に止む予定です。この後は来週の日曜日まで雨がありません。

厳しい売り上げの中、売れない魚をどうするか？　前はフライにして弁当に入れていましたが、昨日ネットで検索したら、「ふりかけ」というアイデアが出てきました。テフロンのフライパンで油なしで焼いていく、そして細かくして水分が抜けたら、塩、ネギ、ゴマを入れてさらに炒っていきます。10分で自家製魚のふりかけの出来上がりです。これをご飯にかけて、昼飯にしました、美味い！　
　ということは、まだまだ知恵は出るということです。昨日からハマチのスペシャルを新たに加えました。タルタルですが、今回は和風です、なめろうのソースで和えると美味い。目先を変えていかないといけません。数撃つ鉄砲はまだ弾が残っています。皆さん、良い週末を！

　夕方からトミーさんとその仲間とワインバーで飲み会。なかなか面白い話を聴きました。ハワイ島で何かビジネスができるかどうかを模索しているわけですがね。 　まず、ハワイ島に別荘を持っている人のリスト、私の予想通りアメリカを代表するVIPの名前が挙がっています。 　ビル・ゲイツ、マイクロソフトの創業者で世界第2位の金持ちですね。マイケル・デル、今は落ち目ですが、DELLの創業者。ハリソン・フォードなどハリウッドの俳優たちもかなり所有しているようです。そのハワイでの資産は10ミリオンではなく、数十ミリオンのようです。10ミリオンの物件はざらにあります。 　日本人でも某パチンコメーカーの社長も推定＄１６Mの家を所有しているとか、また有名歌舞伎俳優やキムタクなどもお忍びでハワイ島に来るようです。彼らが物件を所有しているかどうかは不明ですけどね。 ちなみにそうした超高額物件も2006年を境に急落しました。＄５０Mが＄１５とかに下がったようですが、売った人もいるし、そうでない人もいるでしょう。 　有名人でも正月にハワイに来る人は多いですね。よく朝のワイドショーでインタビューを受けるような下っ端芸能人はオアフに’行くわけです。そこでゴルフするとかでしょうが、ランクの上の芸能人はそういうにぎやかでマスコミに騒がれるところを避けてハワイ島に来るのです。 　冬場になると、コナ空港はそうしたセレブのプライベートジェットで満杯になり、置き場所がないため、満杯後は横のマウイの空港を利用するようです。それだけの大物たちが、広大な敷地に住むわけですね。 　ただし、そういう人はお抱えのシェフがいるでしょうから、店に食べに行くようなことはしませんね。ということは、＄１０M以下のそこそこ金持ちや＄１M程度の普通の金持ち、いわゆる小金持ちをターゲットにしたビジネスは成り立つということですね。 　そして彼の別荘のある近くに店を構えてそこそこビジネスをしている人もいるようです。なんとなく話を聞いてみると、日本食といわれるレストランの数は１０もなし。韓国料理屋はたぶんなし、ハングルを見ませんからね。 　そして美味しい日本食を出している店は１つか２つしかないようです。Buckheadで鍛えた私の腕が通用する可能性はありそうですかね。 　そういうそこそこ金持ちの場合は、店に行くという
